Hello, my name is Melanie. I'm writing this site from a pinephone pro for a couple reasons. For one thing i have wanted a linux phone ever since i saw my friend's Ipaq pocketpc around the time i started using linux. I wanted to use the same cool new OS i was playing with on a handheld, but they only had windows mobile, or palmOS. Now i have the pinephone pro, and i want to show off what it can do! Another reason is that mobile linux is unpolished, and through making this site using only the phone i hope to be able to do some of the polishing. The last big reason is because it is so much fun. I don't think i have ever been so enamored with any one computer since i was a little kid. Every day i have little ideas for modding the keyboard case, or i find a new bit of software that makes something i do frequently much easier!

A big part of my life right now has been focused around making my own estrogen. I accomplished this recently, and much like making my linux distro on the phone, i only did so because of the thorough work of others. I hope that by documenting my experiences i can begin to contribute back. I will also be making a section where i can write thoughts about whatever book i am reading.
